Warriors Annual Awards winners were presented at Enrich '24
I am pleased to announce the Warrior Winners of 2023!
Come Rain or Shine Award - Sarah Kane
Who’s our most dedicated player? The woman who turns up weekly to train, consistently looking to improve their netball and enjoy this community of women.
Take Up Space Award - Tilly Martin
This award recognises the member who takes up opportunities presented to them. In training, this player has taken on board all of the new skills provided and in turn, awarded warrior of the week 3x, on the competitive court she has played and subbed for all 3 warriors teams, pink, gold and black!
POM of POMs Award - Siobhan Cooley
With her superb defending skills and leaping interceptions, it's wonderful to see Siobhan recognised across the summer and winter league in ’23. Well done Siobhan for being awarded POM 7 times!!
Netball Geekery Award - Jo Swain
A woman who has truly thrown herself into the world of netball. She is often caught watching back matches, referring to new drills, checking stats and rumour has it she has spreadsheets of her team's performance!
Bounce Back Award - Anna Hawkins
A true warrior, not letting injury get in her way. Not being able to train did not stop Anna from turning up to training. Learning coaching skills from Kate and Claire and making sure Mon training runs smoothly. Also her dedication to rehab and getting back on the court (hopefully soon!).
